I’m Zoe Zou. I specialize in sewing repairs on outdoor gear — outerwear, tents, sleeping bags, and packs. I can repair and replace zippers as well as patch waterproof-breathable technical fabrics. Standard clothing repairs on jeans, shirts, sweaters, yoga pants, socks, etc. are also available.
I am committed to high-quality repairs with a focus on functionality and a “factory finished” look whenever possible. “Visible patches” are a good way to personalize your clothes in need of repairs — especially if a factory finished look is not possible. Regardless of the visibility, your clothing will be stronger after the repair than when it was new!
If you have a larger project that you’d like to work on, I also take custom orders. These are limited only by your imagination. I’ve made mosquito nets for car windows (sleep in your car bug-free!), custom pockets for odd spaces, countless handbags, pouches, and fabric trinkets of all kinds!
My family share your outdoor interest in camping, hiking, rock climbing, and outdoor activities. My work is constantly being field-tested by many members of the New Mexico Mountain Club, as well as friends and family. It’s always a joy to see my repairs out in the field.
When I’m not working on sewing projects, you can find me on any number of trails and climbs around New Mexico and the Southwest.
